Fypryst Combo 50mg/60mg is a spot-on solution for the treatment of flea, tick, and louse infestations in cats and ferrets. The product contains the active substances Fipronil (50 mg) and (S)-Methoprene (60 mg), which effectively eliminate fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) and ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus), as well as lice (Felicola subrostratus). The package contains one pipette with 0.5 ml of the solution.

Description

Fypryst Combo 50mg/60mg is a spot-on solution for the treatment of flea, tick, and lice infestations in cats and ferrets. The product contains the active substances Fipronil (50 mg) and (S)-Methoprene (60 mg), which effectively eliminate fleas (Ctenocephalides spp.) and ticks (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus), as well as biting lice (Felicola subrostratus). The package contains one pipette with 0.5 ml of the product.

Key features of Fypryst Combo 50mg/60mg:

  • Insecticidal activity against new infestations of adult fleas persists for 4 weeks
  • Inhibits flea reproduction by blocking the development of eggs, larvae, and pupae for a period of 6 weeks after application
  • Acaricidal activity of the product persists for up to 2 weeks after application
  • Can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), provided it has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian
  • Can be used in queens during pregnancy and lactation

Indications for use:

  • Treatment of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides spp.) and tick infestations (Ixodes ricinus, Dermacentor variabilis, Rhipicephalus sanguineus)
  • Treatment of biting lice infestations (Felicola subrostratus)
  • The product can be used as part of a treatment strategy for flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), provided it has been previously diagnosed by a veterinarian
  • The product can be used in flea control programs where concurrent tick and biting lice infestations are present

Contraindications:

  • Do not use on kittens under 8 weeks of age or weighing less than 1 kg
  • Do not use on ferrets under 6 months of age
  • Do not use on sick animals (suffering from systemic diseases, fever) or animals in convalescence
  • Do not use on rabbits due to the risk of adverse reactions, including death
  • Do not use on ferrets under 6 months of age

Administration and dosage:
Read the package leaflet carefully before use. Remove the single-dose pipette from the packaging. Holding the pipette upright, unscrew and remove the cap. Reverse the cap and place the other end onto the pipette. Press down and twist the cap to puncture the seal, then remove it from the pipette. Part the animal's fur on the back between the shoulder blades until the skin is visible. Place the tip of the pipette on the skin and squeeze several times to apply the entire contents directly onto the skin. Do not bathe the cat for 2 days after application and no more than once a week.

  • Apply topically to the skin one pipette containing 0.5 ml per cat, corresponding to a minimum recommended dose of 5 mg/kg fipronil and 6 mg/kg (S)-methoprene (by spot-on application).
  • Apply topically to the skin one pipette containing 0.5 ml per ferret, corresponding to a dose of 50 mg fipronil and 60 mg (S)-methoprene per ferret (by spot-on application).
  • The minimum interval between consecutive applications should not be shorter than 4 weeks.

Ingredients:

  • Active substances: Fipronil 50 mg, (S)-Methoprene 60 mg
  • Excipients: Butylhydroxyanisole (E320) 0.10 mg, Butylhydroxytoluene (E321) 0.05 mg
