Fypryst Fipronil 2.5 mg/ml 100 ml - Flea and Tick Spray for Dogs and Cats

Fypryst Spray for dogs and cats is an effective antiparasitic product that provides protection against fleas and ticks. The product contains the active substance fipronil, which has insecticidal and acaricidal properties, destroying parasites by blocking the transfer of chloride ions through cell membranes, leading to uncontrolled central nervous system activity and the death of insects or mites. Fipronil accumulates in the lipid structure of the skin and hair follicles, from where it is gradually released onto the surface of the skin and coat, ensuring long-lasting product efficacy.

Fypryst Spray can be used as part of insect prevention or as one of the steps in the treatment of flea allergy dermatitis (FAD) in cats and dogs. The product's ingredients are effective against Ixodes spp. ticks, particularly Ixodes ricinus, which can transmit Lyme disease, a dangerous condition for pets. The product controls infestations of biting lice, specifically Trichodectes canis in dogs and Felicola subrostratus in cats. Designed for external use as a spray with a mechanical pump. Safe for adult dogs and cats as well as puppies and kittens from 2 days of age. The duration of efficacy of Fypryst Fipronil Spray against fleas is 3 months in dogs and 2 months in cats (this period may vary depending on environmental factors). Against ticks, the spray provides protection for a period of one month.

Indications for use:

Contraindications:

• do not use on sick animals (e.g. systemic diseases, fever) or on animals during convalescence.
• do not use on rabbits, as adverse reactions, including death, may occur.
• do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients.

Administration and dosage:
Read the package leaflet carefully before use. Spray the entire body surface from a distance of approximately 10 - 20 cm. Spray against the direction of the hair, making sure the entire coat is damp. Ruffle the coat, especially in long-haired animals, so that the product reaches the skin. For thorough wetting of the coat, apply 6-12 pump presses per kilogram of body weight. The amount depends on the length of the animal's hair - the longer the hair, the more product should be used. Due to the lack of appropriate safety studies, the minimum interval between successive applications should be 4 weeks. For optimal efficacy, it is not recommended to bathe animals 2 days before or after product application.
