Once you enter your preferences, food will be automatically dispensed into the bowl at the same time every day. This means you can program meals for an entire week. Additional modes allow you to pause feeding until further notice, dispense a meal immediately, and use slow feeding - a feature that is particularly useful if your pet tends to eat too quickly. What's more, the smartphone app will display a notification whenever the feeder's contents are running low, when the food runs out, and when your cat or dog has been fed.

The materials used to make the dispenser do not alter the taste or smell of the food.
