The fountain holds 1.5 litres of water and features two filters - a foam filter and a carbon filter - that remove unpleasant tastes and odours while catching debris such as pet hair. At the top of the spout, there is a butterfly-shaped topper. The butterfly is not only a fun decorative element but also creates 4 cascading streams of water for your pet to drink from. The topper can be removed to produce a quiet, free-flowing stream that runs down the spout. The slim, compact design and relatively shallow bowl make it suitable for almost any space. The fountain is easy to disassemble for cleaning, and all parts except the pump are dishwasher safe. The Drinkwell Butterfly pet fountain is electrically powered (mains power cord included).
