UDS-K LED Ultrasonic Scaler for dental calculus removal - supragingival and subgingival - as well as removal of all deposits (bacterial plaque, etc.) in animals. The scaler is compatible with the EMS standard. This is a high-end device with an excellent price-to-quality ratio. Until recently, dental calculus in animals was removed using mechanical scalers (chisels); however, this method involves operating inside the animal's mouth with a sharp-tipped metal instrument, which carries considerable risk. Removing dental calculus with an ultrasonic scaler is completely safe for your pet.
The handpiece is made of durable materials, ensuring long-lasting and comfortable operation, while the special housing eliminates unwanted vibrations and unnecessary noise. The handpiece features a new design - white, WITH LED ILLUMINATION - and can easily be sterilized in an autoclave at 135°C and 0.22 MPa pressure. The device is made of the highest quality plastic and holds the necessary quality certifications (FDA / NSF - accepted in both Europe and the USA). The handpiece is connected to the control unit via a soft silicone cable for ease of use. The scaler is equipped with all essential functions such as scaling and perio. Its compact dimensions allow for optimal installation in a dental unit. Installation is also quick and straightforward.
