Tick Twister can be used to remove ticks from the body of:

• humans (adults and children)
• animals (dogs, cats, horses, etc.)

Removing a tick using TICK TWISTER hooks:

1. Select the appropriate hook depending on the size of the tick.
2. Slide it in from the side of the tick.
3. Gently lift the hook and TWIST until the tick detaches (1 to 3 rotations).
4. The procedure takes only a few seconds and simply requires applying a disinfectant after the tick has been removed.

When removing a tick, you must NEVER:

• pull or yank it out (risk of leaving tick body parts in the skin, which can cause pain, inflammation, or infection),
• squeeze it (risk of forcing the arachnid's saliva or injecting intestinal contents along with pathogens into the host's body),
• suffocate it with grease, alcohol, ether, etc., or burn it (same risk as above).
