PolarPomppa is a warm fleece jacket for dogs, designed for use on colder days. Thanks to its unique construction, it allows full freedom of movement while providing comfortable thermal conditions. Ideal for both everyday walks and more active outings for all dogs. It works perfectly as an extra layer of warmth for dogs that feel the cold easily and for senior dogs. It helps maintain proper muscle temperature during movement and rest periods, which is why the PolarPomppa jacket is highly valued and frequently used for all kinds of sporting activities and training sessions.

The PolarPomppa jacket is made from two types of material: thick, soft, and warm sherpa fleece (lamb-style) on the back, and stretchy thermal jersey on the belly, commonly used in the production of sportswear. The tall collar that protects the dog's neck is made from fleece, with a jersey gusset at the front ensuring comfort and full mobility. The jacket covers the most important parts of the body and protects them from getting cold. The back section extends all the way to the loins, while the lower section covers the chest and belly. It fits snugly against the body and stays in place during any activity. The side zipper makes it easy to put on and take off. It is very lightweight, so you can easily take it along on any adventure without adding bulk to your luggage. Reflective elements on the sides of the jacket ensure the dog's safety in poor lighting conditions. It can be worn on its own or as an insulating layer in winter, for example under a lightweight rain jacket.

Tip:
PolarPomppa is designed for year-round use. The fabric it is made from is twice as thick as the one used in the JumpaPomppa fleece jacket. For dogs with thick, dense coats, PolarPomppa may be the only layer needed to provide adequate thermal comfort even on very cold days. For dogs with short coats, without an undercoat, or senior dogs, additional protection may be needed during winter. When combining the jacket with, for example, a rain jacket, use it as an insulating layer. PolarPomppa has been designed to be compatible with other Pomppa products.

How to care for Pomppa dog clothing:

• avoid unnecessary washing. In addition to water consumption, frequent washing causes wear to the fabric and its coating. If there are no visible stains or dirt, try airing the product in a well-ventilated area or placing it in the freezer to eliminate any odors
• if necessary, machine wash on a delicate cycle at 30°C
• do not use harsh detergents, stain removers, bleach, or fabric softeners
• after washing, hang the garment to dry
• do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean

Choosing the right size:
A properly chosen size ensures the best possible thermal protection and allows the dog full freedom of movement. The right size means protection for the most important muscle groups and a guarantee that the garment will stay in place even during sprints or energetic jumps. Pomppa jackets and fleeces are designed to fit various dog body types - slim, broad-chested, and those with pronounced, well-developed musculature. When choosing a size, it is important that the jacket does not restrict the dog's mobility or cause discomfort in any other way.

The decisive factor in choosing the right size for the JumpaPomppa sweater is the dog's back length. We recommend avoiding a smaller size than indicated by the dog's back length. Depending on the dog's proportions and coat type, the correct size may be larger than the size based on back length alone. Another factor worth considering is the primary purpose of the jacket. For active dogs, the jacket should fit closely to the body. Less active dogs, those with rest periods during training, or those leading a generally calm lifestyle, may benefit from a slightly looser fit.
