This automatic litter box works best with PetSafe Crystal litter and requires no scooping. All traces of your cat's bathroom visits are automatically removed without any effort on your part, even when you are away. When your cat enters the litter box to do its business, motion sensors detect the cat's presence. Once the cat leaves, the device starts a 20-minute countdown. After that time, metal "rakes" automatically travel toward the front of the litter box, sweeping up clumped waste along the way. The delayed activation of the rake is designed to keep your cat safe - ensuring that your cat cannot be caught by the cleaning mechanism. You can also manually activate the rakes at any safe moment by simply pressing a single button on the unit. The collected waste ends up behind a special cover, which prevents unpleasant odors from spreading throughout the room. All you need to do is replace the litter in the slide-out tray approximately every 20-30 days (depending on how frequently your cat uses the box) and clean the device.

An additional feature of this litter box is the built-in health counter with an LCD display that monitors how often your cat uses the toilet.
