The CareLift Rear Support Harness wraps around the rear part of the dog's body in a way that allows you to lift the dog's hips without causing any discomfort. The harness helps relieve pressure on the animal's joints while still allowing your pet freedom of movement. You can also successfully use it alongside your dog's regular harness (e.g. Norwegian-style or guard-type harnesses). Contoured padding reduces pressure at key contact points with the body and prevents potential chafing. The pad located under the belly also features a removable, rigid genital guard for male dogs. Thanks to multi-point size adjustment, you can easily fit the harness to your pet's body shape. For your shared comfort, the harness can be held in two ways - a rigid handle near the lumbar area and an additional grapple for leash, which saves you from constantly bending down to your dog.

The PetSafe rehabilitation harness is made from durable materials, and all joints are thoroughly stitched so they won't give way under the dog's weight. For the comfort and health of your dog's skin and coat, the cushioning pads are lined on the underside with breathable mesh fabric. Both the straps and the material covering the pads are water and sand resistant, which is particularly useful when the dog frequently lies down on the ground to rest. Any surface dirt can be easily removed by machine washing the harness.
