The device keeps your dog entertained for extended periods without your involvement. All you need to do is turn on the launcher and place a ball in the loading pocket, and the device will automatically "launch" it. To minimize the need for owner intervention, the loading opening is designed to allow the dog to reload the ball on its own. In the meantime, you are free to go about your other activities. The launcher features adjustable distance (from 2.5 m to 9 m) and adjustable launch angle (up to 45° upward), allowing you to customize the throw to suit the available space and add variety to your pet's playtime by changing these settings from time to time. You can load up to three balls at once, each the size of a standard tennis ball (max. 7.5 cm in diameter). Each launch is preceded by an audible signal, which helps the dog prepare to run. Each play session lasts 15 minutes. After that, the device enters standby mode for the next 15 minutes to give your dog adequate rest. After this break, if the sensor in the loading opening detects a ball, the toy resumes the game. The device will continue to restart the game until it is switched off using the on-off button. The toy has been designed with your dog's safety in mind. The device features a motion sensor on the front panel - if the dog is in the launch path less than 2 meters from the toy, the launcher pauses for 3 seconds, protecting your pet from a hard ball impact. Additionally, the launch pocket contains a sensor that detects objects that should not be there (e.g., a ball of an unacceptable size or another toy). The on-off switch also allows you to stop the game at any time, and the waterproof housing prevents damage caused by sudden weather changes or dog saliva. The PetSafe Automatic Ball Launcher can be powered via a mains cable or 6 D-type batteries (L20 or LR20). A handle on top of the device allows for easy carrying. The set includes 2 tennis balls.

Tip: Help your dog learn how the toy works. Launch the first ball while your dog is nearby. When the ball fires, give your pet a treat. Repeat until your dog feels comfortable around the ball launcher. Using treats, train your dog to drop the ball over the launcher - first, the dog should drop the ball into your hand and then be rewarded. Repeat this step until your pet has mastered it. Once learned, practice dropping the ball over the ball loading pocket. When your dog learns to drop the ball over the launcher, the reward will be the ball being launched.
