Tips:

• The bowl has two clips on the sides that snap into the base. You can use this locking mechanism, but you don't have to. If your dog isn't a troublemaker, place the bowl on the base with the clips aligned with the embossed open padlock symbols on the base - the bowl won't be locked. You can simply lift it off.
• You can fill the base with water, sand, sand and water, or ice cubes.
