In response to customer demand, Mars created, at their request, hook-style stripping knives in a blunt version - with unsharpened blades. This solution ensures that the guard coat (outer coat) will not be cut during stripping, which is particularly important for show dogs. Model 99M55010 is excellent at removing loose and dead hair, and helps eliminate excess undercoat in dogs of the following types: Old English Sheepdog, Irish Wolfhound, Herding dogs, Chow Chow. Ten blunt, hook-style blades spaced 3.5mm apart. The comfortable wooden handle ensures a high level of working comfort.
