The 8 geometrically shaped teeth with alternating spacing of 5mm and 3.5mm glide smoothly between strands, efficiently collecting loose hair from the coat without irritating the pet's skin. It also handles cutting through heavily matted fur with ease. This stripping knife works excellently in the initial stage of grooming long-haired breeds and for full coat processing on wire-haired breeds.

How to use:
Place the stripping knife against the coat, pressing very gently. With your other hand, hold the fur just above the line of the hooks. Pull the tool in long strokes, following the direction of hair growth.
Tip:
This stripping knife can also be used for grooming most horse manes, for example on warmblood breeds. How to use: place the mane on the "wrong" side and comb through layer by layer. Then lay the mane back on the "correct" side and continue the process until the entire mane has been combed through.
