The Kurgo Rucksack features one large compartment that can accommodate a dog or cat weighing up to 11 kg. It has two side panels and an openable mesh window that provide your pet with adequate ventilation and airflow. A leash with a carabiner clip prevents your pet from escaping the backpack - simply attach it to your pet's harness. A large, zippered opening makes it easy to place your pet in and take them out of the backpack. The bottom features a soft, removable insert. The top flap can be rolled up and fastened. The buckle used to secure the flap also doubles as a bottle opener. If you use the backpack for getting around the city with your pet, you can also carry a laptop or tablet in it. A large, zippered, padded pocket inside is designed for this purpose. A second pocket for smaller electronics can be found at the back of the backpack. There is a small accessory pocket at the front. Loops allow you to attach various small items, such as a collapsible bowl, leash, etc. At the back, there is a metal carabiner clip to which you can attach a seatbelt while traveling by car. 

The Kurgo Rucksack dog backpack is constructed to ensure comfort and safety for both the pet and the owner. Soft, wide, adjustable shoulder straps do not dig in, even when carrying heavier loads. A chest strap stabilizes the backpack and prevents it from slipping off the shoulders. The ergonomic back panel with a ventilated section ensures a perfect fit, as well as adequate breathability and moisture wicking. 
The backpack is made from durable, tear-resistant Ripstop outdoor fabric. The rigid bottom is waterproof and easy to clean. It is made from Armorsole™ material, similar to that used in the production of athletic footwear.

Cleaning instructions:
Wipe a dusty backpack with a damp cloth. For heavier soiling, you can hand wash it and air dry. The soft insert in the pet compartment can be removed and machine washed (delicate cycle).
