Choosing the right size:
Measure your dog's chest circumference starting from the bottom of the chest, going up and over the back, and then back down to where you started. Select the appropriate size from the chart.

Attaching the harness to the car seat belt:
Put the harness on your dog, making sure to achieve a proper fit using the 5-point adjustment. The harness should be neither too tight nor too loose. Then attach the carabiner clip to the fastened car seat belt by threading it through both parts of the belt (the straps that normally run across the chest and lap on a person).
