The Julius-K9 Mantrailing Harness is a dog harness designed specifically for tracking dogs. Developed in collaboration with professionals in the field of mantrailing, it is suitable for both professional users and hobbyists. Its construction allows for precise fitting to the dog's body (adjustable at 5 points). The harness consists of three independent sections connected by straps. This design ensures that the harness dynamically adapts to the animal, providing full freedom of movement. How to fit the Julius-K9 Mantrailing Harness:
For the harness to function properly and be comfortable for the dog, the correct size must be selected and the harness must be precisely adjusted to the dog's build. Adjust the straps leading to the neck element so that the upper edge of the chest pad sits at the level of the sternum and the pad lies flat against the chest. In the section between the neck and the rear element, make sure the ring does not sit behind the line of the dog's two hind legs. Slide the rear element far enough back so that the rear straps of the chest pad do not obstruct the front legs. The straps should be tight enough that a hand can fit under the rear element, but do not allow them to be too loose, as this may cause the harness to shift sideways during work. In a standing position, the harness may appear too loose - the adjustable bridge element, neck element, and rear element may sag slightly - but this will correct itself as soon as the dog starts moving and pulling forward. All straps and elements will then be in their proper place.

Note:
The JK9 Mantrailing Harness is not suitable for casual wear, hiking, or running with your dog. It was developed specifically for search work, where the dog always moves ahead of its handler on a taut leash.
