The jacket provides excellent protection against low temperatures, wind, and moisture. A thick layer of ball fiber filling that mimics the feel of down and creates small air pockets that trap heat provides protection against the cold.

The Hurtta Extreme Warmer III Eco winter dog jacket is easy to put on and take off, and loops around the hind legs prevent it from twisting or sliding off. A special flap protects the dog's belly, while the tall, improved collar and "hood" protect the neck, head, and ears. The waist circumference adjustment elements and buckle are made from durable metal. Adjustments around the collar and along the back length allow the size to be tailored to the dog's body shape. Reflective piping and prints made with 3M technology ensure visibility in challenging weather conditions. An opening on the back allows a harness to be worn underneath and a leash to be attached. There is more room around the front legs for freer movement. Special snaps allow the jacket flaps to be fastened at the rear (under the tail or tucked inward). This prevents the garment from dragging on the ground for dogs with short legs. A loop inside the collar allows the jacket to be hung on a hook.

A unique feature of the Extreme Warmer jacket is the use of modern technology in the construction of the lining. It is coated with a special aluminum foil print that works on the same principle as a thermal blanket for athletes. The purpose of this lining is to maintain the dog's body temperature at the correct level and protect against hypothermia. Choosing the right size:
When selecting the right size for your dog, watch the video and measure the chest circumference, neck circumference, and length of your dog. If your measurements fall at the upper limit of a size, or between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size. Measure your dog's body length from the withers to the base of the tail.
