How to use:
Read the instruction manual carefully before using the deshedding tool. The FURminator tool is recommended for use 1-2 times per week, for no longer than 10-20 minutes per session. However, grooming time may vary depending on the condition, thickness of the coat, or breed of the individual animal. More frequent use of the deshedding tool may be necessary during shedding season.

To use the FURminator correctly and effectively, follow these steps:

• STEP 1: Before starting the grooming session, thoroughly examine your pet for bruises, wounds, or other skin issues. Then brush the coat, paying special attention to detangling any mats. Using the tool on tangled hair may cause damage by breaking the teeth.

• STEP 2: Begin removing the undercoat: gently move the tool through your pet's coat in the direction of hair growth, starting from the neck and gradually working toward the tail. Use long, gentle strokes, as you would with a brush. Although the SkinGuard feature prevents the teeth from digging into the skin, grooming too deeply or with too much pressure may cause irritation, especially around the belly, legs, or sensitive areas.

• STEP 3: Regularly remove collected hair using the FURejector button.

• STEP 4: After finishing, remember to protect the FURminator teeth with the EdgeGuard cap.

How to care for your FURminator:
To keep your tool in good condition for as long as possible, follow these guidelines:

• Remember to brush your pet before using the deshedding tool. Using the tool on tangled hair may cause the deshedding teeth to break.
• Be careful not to drop the tool. A fall onto a hard surface may result in damage.
• Clean the tool using warm water with a mild detergent. Pay attention to debris lodged between the individual teeth. If needed, use a soft brush to clean them. The tool must be completely dry before storing.
