This classic dog leash is crafted using two types of leather: durable buffalo leather along the entire length, and soft cowhide lining on the inside of the handle. Between the layers of leather, there is a foam padding that makes the handle comfortable to hold. The use of oiled leather (smooth leather coated with a layer of wax or fat) makes the leash more durable and allows it to develop a patina over time (which is a desired effect), while also bringing out subtle color nuances more visibly. Vertical seams are reinforced with double stitching. The chrome snap hook for attaching the collar adds a touch of raw elegance to the leash.
