Contraindications for using the Emmi-Pet toothbrush:

How to use the toothbrush:

• Place a pea-sized amount of toothpaste on your finger and let your pet sniff and lick it
• Turn on the toothbrush and let your pet get accustomed to it
• Bring the device close to the animal's neck, then to its lips
• Gently lift the lips and insert the toothbrush
• Start with the molars so the animal can get used to the new sensation
• Now begin cleaning the teeth: hold the brush head gently against the surface of the teeth or gums. Hold it in each position for approximately 5-10 seconds, then clean tooth by tooth. Remember that there must be contact between the toothpaste/bristles and the teeth (toothpaste must be on the brush - without it, the toothbrush will not clean)
• The brush head can cover two or three teeth at a time
• Do NOT brush the teeth!!! Otherwise, the toothbrush will not be effective. Let the nano-bubbles and ultrasound do the cleaning for you - this process is much gentler on enamel and gums than any commercial toothbrush that simply brushes away contaminants.
• After cleaning all the teeth (while keeping the device turned on), rinse the brush head with water. Then turn off the toothbrush.
• Ultrasound sterilizes, so the bristles are thoroughly disinfected during rinsing. To charge the Emmi-Pet, place it in the charging station.
• Clean your dog's teeth 2-3 times a week to keep them in ideal condition.
