Chris Christensen Black on Black Shampoo is a color-enhancing shampoo specially developed for show dogs and professional groomers. Formulated with optical color intensifiers, it restores and enhances the depth of black and dark coats while neutralizing unwanted reddish tones. It revitalizes dull, tired, and faded coats that have been weakened by intensive grooming treatments or frequent sun exposure, leaving the coat in outstanding, show-ready condition.
Its high-penetration formula allows nourishing ingredients to enter deep into the hair shaft, strengthening and conditioning the coat from within. The shampoo contains no chemical dyes that could irritate the skin or permanently damage the hair structure. Gentle cleansing agents effectively remove dirt from the skin and coat without disrupting the natural hydrolipid barrier. After use, the coat color appears visibly refreshed, rebuilt, and full of natural shine and depth. The product is also suitable for enhancing other dark coat colors such as blue, steel, and salt-and-pepper.
Directions for use:
Thoroughly wet the coat. Apply the shampoo directly, without dilution, and massage to create a rich lather. Leave on the coat for 5–10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary.

- For longer-lasting color results, it is recommended to use Chris Christensen Day to Day Moisturizing Shampoo and Conditioner between applications.
- Black on Black Shampoo can be mixed with Gold on Gold or Red on Red shampoos to create a customized formula tailored to a specific coat color.
