At the request of a groomer friend, chemist Claus Pohl created a gentle flea shampoo that was safer and more effective than others available at the time. He named it Bio-Groom. The shampoo thoroughly cleaned while being safe for both animals and the environment. Its success inspired Claus to develop new products.
Five decades later, Bio-Groom has become a leading brand in the industry, offering more than 70 products distributed in 68 countries. All Bio-Groom lines are still produced in the USA and made exclusively with natural ingredients to prevent irritation and allergies.
