Barbicide - Concentrate for Disinfecting Tools and Accessories

Barbicide is a concentrated formula based on quaternary ammonium compounds, designed for professional disinfection in hair salons, beauty salons, and wellness centers. It does not contain ethanol, aldehydes, or phenols. It offers a broad spectrum of action: bactericidal, yeasticidal, fungicidal, virucidal, and sporicidal. The concentrate features a rust-protection formula. It does not leave stains on skin or soiled surfaces.

The product is completely safe for health - it contains no aldehydes or phenols. It does not cause irritation or allergic reactions.

Safe for tools and accessories - guaranteed safe for use when disinfecting acrylic surfaces (tanning beds), stainless steel, plastic, combs, brushes, rollers, hair scissors, and cosmetic tools. Recommended for disinfecting device attachments (e.g., microdermabrasion tips, drill bits) as well as clipper blades and guard combs. Thanks to the exceptional cleaning properties of quaternary ammonium compounds, the product is also perfectly suited for use in ultrasonic cleaners.

Action:

• Virucidal: effective against enveloped viruses, including SARS coronavirus (COVID-19), BVDV, Vaccinia, HIV (AIDS), H1N1, HBV, and HCV (Hepatitis B and C)
• Virucidal: effective against non-enveloped viruses (including poliovirus, adenovirus, and norovirus - MNV)
• Bactericidal: kills, among others, staphylococci such as MRSA, Pseudomonas a., Enterococcus h., Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Tbc), Escherichia coli
• Yeasticidal and fungicidal: Candida albicans, Aspergillus brasiliensis Niger
• Sporicidal: effective against Clostridium difficile spores

Directions for use:

• Disinfection of tools/accessories: Immerse tools/accessories (excluding medical devices) in the prepared solution. After the specified contact time, remove them from the solution, rinse with water, and dry before use.
• Surface disinfection: Using a mop, cloth, or by immersion, evenly apply the product at the appropriate concentration. Surfaces should remain wet throughout the entire disinfection period. Surfaces that come into contact with food must be thoroughly rinsed with potable water after the required disinfection time has been reached.
• Solution preparation ratios:

The product complies with European standards: EN 14561 (antibacterial activity), EN 14562 (medical device disinfection), EN 14476 (virucidal activity), EN 13624 (fungicidal activity), and EN 13727 (antibacterial activity). Authorized for distribution by the Office for Registration of Medicinal Products, Medical Devices and Biocidal Products in Warsaw (Permit No.: 7554/18).
