How to use:
Unlock the clippers by sliding the lever located near the blade. Place the tip of the claw between the blades. Cut from the bottom up, holding the clippers perpendicular to the nail. Avoid cutting nails too short.

Tip:
Do not trim nails too short. Damaging the nail bed will cause pain and profuse bleeding. If your pet has light-colored nails, you will easily see the nail bed as a pale pink line. Trim the tips of the nails at least 2mm away from the nail bed. For pets with dark nails, finding the nail bed is not as easy. Trim the nail just a little bit. Look for a dark spot in the middle of the freshly cut nail—if you see it, the nail bed is right behind it. Do not cut any further.
